About Gospel Talent Search
Gospel Talent Search is a ministry given to Charmaine and Dexter Murphy to promote through gospel music the education, training and presentation of talented youth. Talent can be in an category as long as it is Christian based. "Pump it up. Keep it real. Keep it clean." Is the motto of Gospel Talent Search.
Gospel Talent Search endeavors to seek out and showcase individual's God-given talent to encourage them to grow personally and professionally. With over 40 community volunteers, more hen 200 attendees and 50 performers, previous events have been fabulous successes!
Finding people in the community to perform in Gospel Talent Search events, as well as recruiting in the operational support staff needed to stage an event, performers are given the opportunity to go into a recording studio, the costs of which are paid by Gospel Talent Search. CDs of those studio sessions are DVDs of the events are produced as a fund raiser to help cover costs.
Charmaine and Dexter work with churches and schools throughout Riverside and San Bernardino counties. It is through the Murphy's ongoing relationship with these communities, and the support of these communities that has helped Gospel Talent Search be a successful addition to the education of the youth in the Inland Empire.
